I recently had the pleasure of taking photos of Snuggles, a 16 year-old cancer survivor during an in-home pet photo shoot. One day, her owner Jamie noticed her left eye was changing color and took her to the vet. She was told it may be cancer, but the only way to find out was to remove it.

Jamie monitored her eye for 6 months and made the tough decision to have it removed. The results of the test did come back positive for cancer.

During her photo shoot, Snuggles loved the residual juice from the tuna packet and sliced turkey breast we used to get her attention. I also used a stuffed toy banana covered in catnip to get her attention too. Cats don’t respond to my squeaks and barks like dogs do, so I have to get creative. There are some funny behind the scenes photos from Snuggles’ pet photo shoot on my AGoldPhoto Pet Photography Facebook Page.
