We recently met Frank at our Pet Photo Shoot Fundraiser for Humane Society of Marion County.

Frank was found on the side of the road not far from the shelter. They had to remove all but two of his teeth and his lower jaw was broken. After seeing a post from the shelter on Facebook, his adoptive Mom, Deb, went to visit after a phone call as soon as they opened. He was very timid and standoffish, but Deb spent an hour talking to him, telling him everything was going to be ok.

She left a deposit for him and when she came back the next day, Frank was more willing to be picked him and even let Deb pet him. Frank does cower from sudden movement, which could be a sign of past abuse.

Don’t worry Frank, you’re in good hands now!
