When I first moved back to Tampa in late 2015, I needed to find a groomer for my dog Rigby. He’s a mini schnauzer mix who has human like fur. He’s the dog on my cover photo and the front of my website.
After a quick Yelp search, I found Health Mutt, a local groomer in the Seminole Heights Neighborhood of Tampa with amazing reviews. They recently expanded their store and had enough room for my mobile studio. You can see a behind the scenes photo of the setup on my Facebook Page.
I always forget what Rigby looked like before his grooming, which is what gave me the idea for before and after grooming photos. I sent the idea to Health Mutt’s owner, Kendra, and she loved it.
I also used me being at Health Mutt for the day to schedule a Pet Photo Shoot Fundraiser. 12 dogs booked appointments and we raised $450 for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
