In August of 2016, I started the Pit Bull Picture Project because I’ve seen first hand how sweet they are, but get upset when they are given a bad reputation, especially in the media. I wanted to help the one way I knew how, through photography.

In the short amount of time that I have been taking photos of Pit Bulls, the project has been featured in Pup JournalHuffington Post and it will be featured in a print publication in the spring of 2017, but more on that soon.

The Pit Bulls pictured below are looking for their forever homes from the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center. These eight beautiful and goofy Pit Bulls are serving as ambassadors for their breed. They’re showing the world that Pit Bulls are not the viscous creatures they are made out to be.

How you can you help?
