You Stay Classy, Jerry
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Jerry who was rescued from San Diego Humane Society and as a kitten, had his retinas burst, so they had to remove both eyes.
Cats can be fickle when it comes to getting their photo taken (and in general) but Jerry was the opposite. He has learned how to compensate and even has longer whiskers so he can feel more of his surroundings. His sense of smell and hearing are amazing too.
Jerry’s Mom said having a cat without eyes is no different than having a cat with both eyes. In fact, it’s way more entertaining!
