This past weekend, I hit a major donation milestone! Since July, 2016, I have raised $20,000 for animal shelters and charities through my Pet Photo Shoot Fundraisers and Galleries for Charity. I have taken photos of nearly 500 dogs, hosted over 25 events an donated to over 15 organizations.
This milestone also comes as I just left my job to take on Pet Photography full time on May 1, 2017. When I initially started volunteering at Humane Society Tampa Bay in April, 2016, I never imagined that I would be where I am today. AGoldPhoto has grown rapidly as I have been working on it part time. Now that I am full-time, I expect it to grow even faster.
In addition to my Pet Photo Shoot Fundraisers, I also offer in-home Pet Photo Shoots, not only for dogs, but for cats too. An in-home pet photo shoot also makes it easier for families with multiple pets who want to come to an event, but can’t make it happen logistically.
First to Know Facebook Group
I recently created a private Facebook group where I share my newest ideas and ask for feedback before I share them publicly. You can request access to that Facebook group here.
30th Birthday Pet Photo Shoot Fundraiser Road Trip Update
Now that I have significantly more time, I have planned a road trip for my 30th Birthday. I will be driving from Tampa to D.C. to host Pet Photo Shoot Fundraisers in cities along the way. In order to keep costs low, I am staying with friends and family, but I am in need of help paying for food, gas and supplies. I started a GoFundMe Campaign, which is just shy of my $2,500 goal. You can contribute to that campaign here.
Cities I’ll be visiting
- Jacksonville
- Asheville
- Atlanta
- Baltimore
- D.C.
If you, or you know someone who, lives in any of this cities, I’ll also be scheduling in-home pet photo shoots as well.
Thank you to everyone who has helped me accomplish my dream job and I couldn’t have done this without your support. Stay tuned for more updates as I continue to grow AGoldPhoto Pet Photography.
