Thank you Los Angeles!
Our trip to California has been a huge success. Our event in LA was held at Angel City Brewery and benefited NKLA (No Kill Los Angeles), which is an initiative of Best Friends Animal Society. 18 dogs participated and the event raised $630.
The event coordinators for NKLA heard about our Pit Bull Picture Project, so they asked if Angel City Pit Bulls could attend the event and bring some of their adoptable fosters.
Angel City Pit Bulls is an organization that started as a group of like-minded pit bull fans doing independent rescue work and has grown into a collaborative and supportive village, dedicated to being a resource for everything pit bull in Los Angeles, the “City of Angels”. They Educate, Advocate and Celebrate these amazing dogs. Learn more at angelcitypits.org.
NKLA (No-Kill Los Angeles) is an initiative led by Best Friends Animal Society that brings together passionate individuals, city shelters and an entire coalition of animal welfare organizations to end the killing of dogs and cats in shelters throughout Los Angeles. Learn more at nkla.org.
Below are the foster pups who came to the event who are looking for their forever homes.
