10 year-old Lacy was surrendered to the Humane Society of the Tampa Bay in early May of 2024 due to a family emergency.

We photographed her originally when she first arrived, but she’s now the longest resident at the shelter.

We gave her a second, Second Shot, to try and help her find a home ASAP. Lacy doesn’t show well in her kennel, but as soon as you take her out, her personality really shines. You can see it in these photos as well as a video we posted to our Instagram.

Lacey is also heart worm positive, so her new family will need to bring her back for treatments, although there is no extra cost and it is very treatable.

You can learn more about Lacey on the Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s Website.
