When you find something to do that you’re passionate about, it’s not work! When you meet someone while doing what you’re passionate about, it’s meant to be!

When you find that special person, you know right away that you’re going to spend the rest of your life together. This is the the story of how Mary and I met and what’s next for AGoldPhoto Pet Photography.

Humane Society of Tampa Bay was working with an advertising agency for help with a fundraising campaign, to raise money for construction of a new animal shelter.

Mary and the agency came up with an idea to use a Guinea Pig as the shelter spokesman and they asked me if I would be the photographer.

September 10, 2016 | GP, the Guinea Pig, the day Mary and I met

I knew everyone helping with the shoot that day, expect for 1 person and that was Mary. There was 1 moment during the shoot that I knew Mary was going to be the one. She was holding GP, the Guinea Pig, and had the cutest smile on her face. Mary and I really hit it off that day and have been inseparable ever since.

On March 1, 2019, Mary and I got married and not only did we officially become a family, but Mary is also joining AGoldPhoto as a full-time employee.

Having her on the team gives us much more flexibility to travel the country, take more photos and raise even more money for charity.

Mary’s title is Chief Snuggler and will be helping with photo editing, designing AGoldPhoto Merch as well as coordinating travel logistics.

We’re so excited to be on this journey together and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Special thanks to our friends at FairyTail Pet Care for helping us include our dogs, Bee and Rigby, in the wedding. We decided at the last minute to include them and we’re so happy we did.
