When Candace applied to be a part of our upcoming Fundraising Coffee Table Book, Tails of Gratitude: a Collection of Thank You Notes from People to Their Pets, we were instantly touched by Candace and Penny Lane’s story.
Penny Lane’s large personality and sweet soul came through the phone, just as Candace described her. Sadly Penny Lane was also battling bone cancer and it was important for Candace to capture Penny Lane’s personality.
Penny had an unbelievable spirit and was a true fighter. Despite Penny’s daily fight with cancer, she was desperate to bring Candace joy. Penny’s resilience is a lesson to Candace about how to live life.
It is with tremendous sadness that we share that Penny Lane has since crossed the rainbow bridge. We’re honored to have met and photographed Penny and her memory will now live in forever.
