This is a story all about how my dog twist turned my apartment upside down…okay not really (shout out to the Fresh Prince though), but he did get into a bag of treats and a box of bandages we just got from the store. I was able to record all of it using my new Petcube Play.
I met Petcube at SuperZoo a few weeks back and really loved what their company offers. They have two products, the Petcube Play and their newest offering, Petcube Bites. These products offer ways for you to interact with your pets while you’re not there with HD video. They also have a program called Petcube Rescue, which raises awareness about rescue animals and adoption. Our missions are aligned perfectly.

Now to the Irony…
Petcube was kind enough to send me a Petcube Play and in the package was a bag of treats. I was in a hurry to set it up as I had an In-Home Pet Photo Shoot to go to. During the shoot, my phone was getting notifications, but I wasn’t sure what they were. After the shoot and once I looked at my phone, I realized it was motion and sound notifications from the Petcube app. I didn’t watch the 30 second videos prior to getting home, but when I did, I was in for a big surprise.
The treats that came with the Petcube were all gone and the packaging was all over the floor. Rigby used to do this when he was a puppy, but hasn’t done it in a few years. By the looks of the videos, he was having a field day and Bee was saying “Ohhh, you’re going to get in soooooo much trouble for doing this!”
The irony was that if I didn’t get the Petcube, I wouldn’t have been able to record Rigby being mischievous. On the other hand, if I didn’t get the Petcube, I never would have gotten the treats for Rigby to get into. I was furious at first, but when I realized that one lead to the other, I thought it was hilarious. The videos are pretty funny too, especially if you pay attention to Bee’s reactions.
