1. What does the process look like?
Here is a brief overview of the process from beginning to end:
The Process:
- Discovery Call:
Our Discovery Call is an important part of our process - before you step a paw into our studio we want to know what you love about them, what they mean to you, how they make you laugh, how they have wormed their way into your heart . . . every wonderful detail!
- Photoshoot day!

- Our photoshoots can accommodate up to 4 pets and 4 people in one session.

- Getting to know your pet:
We start our session by letting your pet explore and get to know us, and doing some quick and fun training to help your pet get used to our photography gear.
We know that happy, comfortable pets show off their true personality — we make sure that everyone has fun during the shoot!

- Photoshoot itself
There is no time limit on our photoshoot, the time is yours to enjoy! We take all the time you need and we make the whole session *FUN* for you and your pet!
Each photoshoot typically starts at 11 a.m. and typically lasts 1 ½ - 2 hours, with plenty of play, potty, and water breaks to make sure you and your pet are comfortable.
Since we do only take one client per day there is never a rush, and we can take all the time we need to make sure your pet is comfortable with us and the studio.
You and your pet can relax and simply enjoy your experience while we photograph the happiness and love that you share.

- Design consultation:
After a midday break for you to give your pet a walk and take them home if you desire, at 3 p.m. it’s time for your design consultation!
We invite you to sit and relax in our theater room to look at all the best photographs in a cinematic slideshow.
In addition, we’ll use the photo(s) of your house’s interior that you have provided to show you an actual rendition of what each artwork option would look like in your house — allowing you to choose the artwork that looks best in the exact location you plan to display it!
- Reveal day!
Reveal Day occurs 8-9 weeks after your Luxury Photoshoot.
On Reveal Day, you are invited back to the studio to sit down with an AGoldPhoto team member and open each piece of your custom artwork!
- Installation
Installation service is available if you would like us to install the artwork in your home.
- Additional orders:
Many of our clients decide to order more artwork. We keep all photo files from your photoshoot for 6 months, and any photos you ordered are kept forever in case you ever need to replace your artwork.
- Addition photo version choices
In addition to custom artwork, you can order photo options such as our social media resolution version as well as custom mailed holiday cards created and mailed for you by Minted.com.

Your Luxury Photoshoot Experience:
Your experience will be night-and-day different from a standard pet photo sitting — from beginning to end!
Part 1: The Discovery Call
Your luxury photoshoot experience begins before you set a paw in the studio with our Discovery Call.
Our Discovery Call is not about logistics or selling.
It is an opportunity for us to get to know you, and to learn all about your pet’s unique “pawsonality!” We want to hear their story, how they came into your life, and how they make every day special for you.
This allows us to plan your Luxury Pet Photoshoot Experience and be sure we know what unique poses and photos you would like us to capture during your day at our studio.
We also ask questions about the spaces you want to decorate with artwork from your pet photoshoot, as well as your design style - this allows us to provide an accurate quote that includes artwork that matches your style and decorating needs.
Part 2: The Photoshoot
The day of your photoshoot is an experience in itself— full of moments you will cherish forever.
We will sit back and let your pet show us all sides of their personality. From touching moments of love and connection to the unplanned hilarious antics of your pet, we will capture each moment for you to remember for years to come!
There is no time limit for your photoshoot— we set aside the day for you to enjoy the experience and savor the moments. There is no pressure - no “next appointment” waiting in the wings, making you feel rushed or distracting your pet.
We understand that some pets need more time to get comfortable; by only scheduling one photoshoot each day we allow each pet time to relax and adjust at their own pace so that your photographs show your pet’s true, happy, unstressed personality!
Your photoshoot is a time for you to relax and enjoy the experience with your furry friend while we bring out their unique and lovable personality in photo after photo.
Part 3: The Design Consultation:
In a standard pet photography session, you will sit down at a table and look at your photos on a tiny laptop screen, order reprints, and go home.
Or, worse yet, you have to wait days - or weeks - for a digital gallery to be emailed to you!
Not at AGoldPhoto Pet Photography.
At the end of your Luxury Pet Photoshoot day, you will proceed to our theater room, where you will receive a private Design Consultation with an AGoldPhoto team member and see the best photos from your photoshoot - life size - on the theater screen!
We will also show you life-size renditions of the artwork options you are considering, each featuring your favorite photos of your pet.
We use the photo(s) of your house’s interior that you have provided to show you an actual rendition of what each artwork option would look like in your house — allowing you to choose the artwork that looks best in the exact location you plan to display it!
Part 4: The Reveal:
Another special part of our luxury pet photography experience is what we call “The Reveal” — the day your custom artwork arrives!It’s a staff favorite, because we get to see the look on each client’s face as they see the photographs of their pet come alive in our custom artwork.
Approximately 8-9 weeks after your photoshoot, your finished artwork will be ready and you’ll be invited back to the studio for your Artwork Reveal — we are so excited for you to open each custom-wrapped package and relive the joy and fun of your luxury photoshoot day!
